Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Node.js Lead to spearhead the design and development of scalable backend services and APIs. This role demands hands-on technical expertise, customer interaction experience, and strong leadership qualities to mentor and guide a dynamic development team. Roles and Responsibilities: Lead the development and maintenance of scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js . Interact with business stakeholders and customer teams to gather requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions. Drive technical decision-making, backend architectural enhancements, and code optimization efforts. Mentor junior developers and actively contribute to knowledge-sharing across the team. Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure backend code meets high standards for quality, performance, and security . Collaborate with project managers and provide regular updates on deliverables and timelines. Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 8 years of backend development experience with strong expertise in Node.js . In-depth knowledge of API design standards including RESTful and GraphQL services. Solid understanding of microservices architecture and server-side development patterns. Hands-on experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL . Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with prior experience working in customer-facing or consulting roles . Strong Agile/Scrum knowledge and experience participating in collaborative, iterative development cycles. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines . Preferred Skills: Certifications related to backend development, cloud platforms, or Agile practices. Experience in cross-functional team collaboration and distributed team environments.
