Role & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and optimize features on

  Travelmatic

  , a large-scale B2B travel SaaS platform.
• Work on

  legacy code as well as new modules

  , upgrading and integrating modern technologies where needed.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented PHP/Laravel code, following the best software development practices.
  
• Build APIs and work closely with frontend teams, DevOps, and QA for seamless deployments and functionality.
  
• Solve performance and scalability challenges for complex booking workflows (hotels, flights, packages, etc.).
  
• Integrate third-party APIs related to GDS systems, hotel aggregators, payment gateways, etc.
  
• Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and communicate clearly with stakeholdersespecially from

  Europe and the US

  .

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 25 years of experience

  in Laravel development (must-have), with strong understanding of SaaS architecture.
• Prior experience in

  travel-tech, hotel/flight booking platforms

  , or large-scale B2B SaaS applications preferred.
• Strong command over

  PHP, Laravel, MySQL, RESTful APIs, Git, and deployment pipelines

  .
• Familiarity with

  Vue.js/React

  is a plus (not mandatory).
• Comfortable with legacy system handling and refactoring with modern best practices.
  
• Excellent

  English communication skills

  – both verbal and written.
• Experience in direct

  client communication with Europe/US-based stakeholders

  is highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving attitude, self-motivated, and accountable for timelines.
