Key Responsibilities: Collect, prepare, and test construction material samples (e.g., concrete, soil, bitumen, aggregates). Conduct standard laboratory and field tests such as slump tests, sieve analysis, compaction tests, moisture content, and compressive strength. Maintain accurate test records and prepare test reports for internal use and client submission. Calibrate and maintain testing equipment as per company and manufacturer standards. Assist in quality assurance and quality control procedures on-site. Ensure safety protocols and lab standards are followed at all times. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to communicate test results and provide technical support. Maintain inventory of lab supplies and requisition materials as needed. Qualifications: Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a construction material testing laboratory. Knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, IS codes, or other relevant standards. Familiarity with laboratory testing equipment and procedures.
