Key Responsibilities: . Design and develop original and trend-forward ethnic wear: sarees, blouses, lehengas, kurtis, and kids’ Indo-western outfits Collaborate with tailoring and embroidery teams to ensure design execution Innovate with draping techniques for ready-to-wear sarees and blouseless concepts Stay up-to-date with fashion trends, textile innovations, and customer preferences Conduct fabric sourcing and selection in coordination with the studio owner Supervise sampling and final garment quality Attend client trials and make design adjustments if needed Assist in styling looks for photoshoots and social media content Required Skills: Strong knowledge of Indian ethnic fashion and textiles Creative sketching and draping skills Knowledge of pattern-making and garment constructio Attention to detail with good understanding of color, fit, and finish Strong communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced boutique environment with tight timelines Preferred Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design or a related field 1+ year experience in a fashion house or boutique (preferred but not mandatory) Passion for Indian fashion and innovation in ethnic wear Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fresher Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month Expected hours: 54 per week Ability to commute/relocate: Bangalore City, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Language: Kannada (Preferred) Work Location: In person
