Kitchen Assistant

• Food Preparation:Assisting in the preparation of ingredients, such as chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes.
• Cleaning:Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
• Inventory Management:Helping with the organization and storage of food supplies, ensuring proper rotation and minimizing waste.
• Assisting Kitchen Staff:Supporting chefs and other kitchen personnel with various tasks to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Maintaining a Safe Environment:Adhering to food safety and sanitation standards, as well as ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
• Following Instructions:Accurately following recipes and instructions provided by senior kitchen staff.
• Stocking and Storage:Assisting with receiving and storing deliveries, including unpacking and placing items in appropriate storage areas.
• Equipment Maintenance:Ensuring kitchen equipment is clean and well-maintained.
• Customer Service:In some settings, assisting with plating dishes and serving food to customers.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Time Management: Ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Cleanliness and Hygiene: Strong focus on maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in food preparation and following instructions carefully.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff.
• Communication: Clear communication with other staff members.
• Food Safety Knowledge: Basic understanding of food safety guidelines and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
