Job Summary:The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness, order, and overall hygiene standards of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. This role ensures staff productivity, quality control, and adherence to company policies and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate the activities of room attendants and other housekeeping staff. Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas for cleanliness and maintenance. Assign duties and shifts to housekeeping staff and ensure proper coverage. Train new staff and provide ongoing guidance to ensure high service standards. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and linens and request replenishment when necessary. Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping and resolve them promptly and professionally. Maintain records of staff attendance, room status, cleaning checklists, and maintenance issues. Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., front office, maintenance) to ensure smooth operations.
