We are looking for a highly skilled Juniper Switching Engineer to manage, support, and optimize our enterprise switching infrastructure The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Juniper switching platforms, strong networking fundamentals, and the ability to design and implement scalable and secure Layer 2/Layer 3 switching solutions Key Roles & Responsibilities: Provide daily operational support for Juniper-based switching infrastructure Resolve incidents, service requests, and troubleshooting tickets within SLAs Perform routine switch configuration changes, patching, OS upgrades, and performance tuning Collaborate with cross-functional teams for implementing minor network changes and small-scale projects Maintain documentation for network configurations, change logs, and troubleshooting steps Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with enterprise network standards and security policies Identify potential network risks and suggest optimization opportunities Liaise with vendors and OEMs for hardware/software issues as needed Required Skills & Qualifications: 36 years of hands-on experience with Juniper EX/QFX series switches Strong knowledge of LAN technologies, Layer 2/3 switching, VLANs, STP, and port channeling Familiarity with JunOS CLI for configuration and troubleshooting Experience with network patching, firmware upgrades, and performance tuning Basic understanding of traditional networking technologies and topologies Knowledge of ITIL practices for incident/change management Comfortable working independently and handling tasks in a global delivery model Strong communication and documentation skills Nice to Have: Experience with basic routing (OSPF, BGP) in enterprise environments Certifications like JNCIA-Junos or JNCIS-ENT
