Junior QA

As a Junior QA Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products by conducting manual testing and collaborating closely with the development team. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards will be invaluable in maintaining our product's quality and reliability. You will be responsible for executing manual test cases, identifying and reporting bugs in a structured manner, and writing effective test cases based on software requirements. Additionally, you will work alongside developers to address issues, conduct functional, regression, and UI testing, and keep test documentation updated as the product evolves. To excel in this role, you should have 6 months to 1 year of experience in manual testing and be familiar with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla. Basic knowledge of automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, or Postman for API testing will be beneficial. Understanding of SDLC and STLC, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills, are essential for success in this position. While not mandatory, exposure to testing APIs, basic scripting knowledge (Java, Python), and familiarity with Agile methodologies would be advantageous. This full-time position offers a flexible schedule, paid sick time, and time off, with a work location in Mohali, Punjab. Night shifts from Monday to Friday are required, and the ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Mohali before starting work is essential.
