Junior Digital Marketing Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior SEO Executive who also has working knowledge of WordPress development. The ideal candidate will assist in improving website visibility, driving organic traffic, and performing on-page and technical SEO tasks, while also managing basic WordPress updates and customizations.

Key Responsibilities:SEO Tasks:

• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
• Perform on-page optimization (meta tags, headers, image alt text, internal linking).
• Help manage and improve off-page SEO (link building, directory submissions, etc.).
• Monitor and report SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
• Support content teams by suggesting SEO-optimized topics and structures.
• Ensure websites follow SEO best practices and are technically sound.

WordPress Tasks:

• Update website content and pages using WordPress CMS.
• Assist in basic customizations of themes and page layouts.
• Ensure website speed, responsiveness, and performance using plugins and tools.
• Manage plugins, SEO tools (e.g., Yoast, RankMath), and media optimization.
• Troubleshoot minor website issues or coordinate with developers when needed.

Required Skills:

• Basic understanding of SEO principles (on-page, off-page, technical).
• Hands-on experience with WordPress CMS.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic website structure.
• Knowledge of SEO tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ubersuggest, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Willingness to learn and stay updated with search engine trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Yoast SEO, RankMath, or similar WordPress SEO plugins.
• Exposure to Google Tag Manager and schema markup is a plus.
• Understanding of website speed optimization tools like PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix.
• Basic understanding of content marketing or blog strategy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,276.89 - ₹18,000.00 per month
