Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a time bound research project for a temporary period, purely on contractual basis in the Centre for nanotechnology research (CNR), at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, T.N, India.as per the following details.

Job Description

Project aims to develop sunlight excitable rare earth free persistent phosphor for disaster mitigation. Knowledge about nanomaterials, their properties and optical characterization such thermo and photo luminescence is required. Strong communication and writing skills are desirable.

Essential Qualification

Integrated BS-MS/MSc, M.Sc in material science, chemistry, physics, M Tech in nanotechnology or equivalent degree, with 55% marks and with valid NET/GATE test.

UpperAge Limit

JRF-28Yrs.

Age relaxation

The upper age limit is relax-able up-to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.
