Jr. Quality Analyst

As a Junior Quality Analyst with at least 6 months of hands-on experience in software testing, your role will be crucial in ensuring the highest quality of our software products through comprehensive testing practices. You will be responsible for creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Additionally, you will estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities across projects. Your duties will also include designing, developing, and executing automation scripts using open-source tools such as Selenium, Postman, and JMeter. Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using bug-tracking tools like JIRA and Bugzilla will be part of your daily tasks. You will perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and develop testing processes to meet client requirements for new and existing products. Collaboration with internal teams, including developers and product managers, will be essential to identify and resolve system requirements and issues. Monitoring the debugging process results and providing detailed feedback, investigating the causes of non-conforming software, and suggesting solutions will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will train users or internal stakeholders to implement and follow QA best practices and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. To excel in this role, you should have a strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Hands-on experience with manual testing and automated testing frameworks, as well as familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes, will be beneficial. Staying up to date with the latest testing tools, trends, and strategies is essential to ensure the continuous improvement of our testing practices.
