Roles & Responsibilities: Support production and maintenance operations on the shop floor. Assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery. Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Maintain records and documentation related to daily operations. Coordinate with the team to meet daily production targets. Learn and adapt to new technical skills as required by the department. Skills Required: Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems. Willingness to work in shifts. Roles and Responsibilities programming and set up CNC to complete new product/different functions change the tooling of the CNC machine observe machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometer and dial caliper. adjust machine control, including part process verify first piece inspection using appropriate measuring instruments generally monitor the work being undertaken and completed, testing and taking agreed critical measurements to identify problems and the need for adjustment etc and to immediately make any adjustments as necessary post edit CNC programme to fine tune process for optimum performance undertake agreed CNC inspection maintain accurate data/records/documentation associated with your work carry out planned tasks in accordance with contract/requirements on services and associated systems ensure compliance with quality standards, policies and procedures, codes and legislation including health and safety immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organization and/or its clients/customers to Line Manager contribute towards the smooth running of the team responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet agreed budgetary controls adhere to all organization policies and procedures Desired Candidate Profile Must have Setting and programming experience in VTL,VMC,CNC.
