Additionally, you should have 5-8 years of total experience, with 5 years of relevant experience in this field. Your role will involve leading automation or QA functions, requiring at least 2 years of experience in a leadership position. You must possess a strong understanding of API testing tools such as Postman and Rest Assured, along with expertise in RESTful APIs. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing test automation frameworks and strategies. Proficiency with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, and Locust, as well as build and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and GitLab for end-to-end testing scenarios, is essential. A deep understanding of how changes at different lifecycle stages can impact API functionality is crucial. You should also be familiar with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git and SVN. Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary, as you will be leading cross-functional teams. Knowledge of AWS and large-scale IoT systems would be advantageous.
