Role Overview

Java Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of Java-based software projects.
• Drive execution across development, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams.
• Engage directly with clients and stakeholders for requirement gathering, updates, and escalations.
• Own project planning, sprint execution, scope, risk management, and reporting.
• Guide and review architecture and implementation of solutions built using

  Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes

  .
• Ensure timely and high-quality project delivery with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Use Agile methodologies and tools like

  Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps

  for sprint management and tracking.
• Maintain clear documentation and status dashboards for internal and external reporting.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 12-18 years of IT experience with a

  strong background in Java development

  .
• Proven experience in managing

  enterprise projects

  in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Solid knowledge of

  cloud platforms

  (AWS/Azure/GCP) and deployment strategies.
• Hands-on experience with

  Docker and Kubernetes

  .
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills

  with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Leadership and mentoring experience in cross-functional teams.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP / CSM / PRINCE2 certification (preferred).
• Exposure to IT services or consulting environments.
• Experience managing distributed/offshore teams.
