Java Developer - Spring Frameworks

As a Java Developer with over 5 years of experience in Chennai (Walkin), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to create RESTful services and work with SQL/NoSQL databases. You will be expected to develop unit and integration tests, participate in Agile sprints, and ensure application performance, availability, and scalability. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture. Collaborate with teams to define, design, and implement new features. Create and consume RESTful APIs, work with SQL/NoSQL databases, and ensure code quality through testing. Participate in Agile activities like sprints, reviews, and stand-ups. Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and follow best practices in coding and security. Required Skills 5+ years of Java development experience. Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and the Spring Framework. Experience in Microservices architecture design and development. Proficiency in building RESTful services and integrating with front-end and third-party services. Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong understanding of Git, unit testing frameworks, and mocking frameworks. Good-to-Have Skills Experience with Kubernetes, API Gateway, and service discovery mechanisms. Exposure to event-driven architectures using tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ. Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools like Jenkins. Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Angular/React is a plus.
