Java DB - Senior Engineer

Job Description

Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications with a focus on database interactions. Create and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and understand application requirements. Ensure data integrity and security through effective database management practices. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and performance bottlenecks. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Java development and database management. Qualifications: 5-8 years of experience in Java development with a focus on database integration. Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (e. g. , Spring, Hibernate). Strong experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Knowledge of SQL and database design principles. Experience with database performance tuning and optimization. Familiarity with version control systems (e. g. , Git). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills: Experience with NoSQL databases (e. g. , MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus. Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions (e. g. , AWS RDS, Azure SQL). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
