IT System Administrator (Windows, Wi-Fi & DLP Support)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and security-conscious IT System Administrator with 2–3 years of experience in Windows laptop support, Wi-Fi network troubleshooting, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring secure, stable, and efficient IT operations across end-user devices and local networks.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on support for Windows laptops: OS installation, updates, performance tuning
Manage Wi-Fi access points, routers, and troubleshoot connectivity issues
Configure and support DLP tools to prevent unauthorized data access and transfer
Respond to and investigate DLP alerts, generate reports, and support compliance efforts
Ensure proper endpoint protection (antivirus, encryption, firewall settings)
Set up and maintain user access, email configurations, and file-sharing permissions
Handle USB blocking, email DLP policies, and sensitive data protection rules
Maintain and troubleshoot basic networking (IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT)
Support other office IT equipment (printers, scanners, projectors, conferencing tools)

Requirements

Required Skills:

2–3 years of experience in desktop or system administration
Strong expertise in Windows 10/11 support and laptop troubleshooting
Good working knowledge of Wi-Fi network setup and troubleshooting
Experience with any DLP tools (e.g., Symantec DLP, Microsoft Purview, Endpoint Protector, McAfee DLP)
Familiarity with endpoint hardening, removable media control, and policy enforcement
Basic network troubleshooting using tools like ping, ipconfig, tracert
Clear understanding of data protection practices and IT security hygiene

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Microsoft 365 Security Admin, or equivalent

Hands-on with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint / Intune / BitLocker

Scripting skills (PowerShell) – a plus
