Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Executive to oversee and support the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, and day-to-day technical operations. The ideal candidate should be well versed in server and network management, desktop/laptop support, and have experience with Linux, NComputing, G1, CCTV, biometrics, and telecom systems. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage and maintain IT infrastructure – including desktops, laptops, servers, networking devices, and Thin Client setups (e.g., NComputing & G1 systems). 2. Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software – covering OS, applications, and peripherals across user systems. 3. Provide technical support to end-users – resolving issues related to systems, internet, email, VPNs, printing, and hardware components. 4. Administer Linux servers and network security – perform updates, manage user permissions, and monitor systems for data integrity and backup. 5. Oversee biometric attendance systems, CCTV, and telecom equipment – ensure smooth functioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting. 6. Implement data backup & disaster recovery procedures – to ensure business continuity and secure storage. 7. Coordinate with vendors and service providers – for hardware/software support, warranty claims, and AMC follow-ups. 8. Assist in IT projects and upgrades – including system migrations, new hardware setup, and infrastructure improvements. 9. Document IT processes and provide training – maintain manuals, asset records, and conduct user training on IT best practices. ________________________________________ Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Strong knowledge of Linux, basic server management & command-line usage Hands-on experience with CCTV, biometric systems, telecom, NComputing, and G1 clients Good understanding of networking, data security, and desktop/laptop troubleshooting Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
