Job Summary: We are looking for a technically sound and customer-oriented Regional Service & Support Engineer/ Sr. Engineer/Asst. Manager with experience in SCADA systems, automation projects, and regional service delivery. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting SCADA/ PPC configuration, project execution, troubleshooting, and after-sales service to ensure seamless operation of solar and hybrid energy plants. Key Responsibilities: 1. SCADA & Automation System Support · Configure and commission IoT & PLC SCADA systems. · Design and develop HMI/SCADA dashboards, alarms, trends, and reports. · Interface and integrate with field devices (PLCs, RTUs) using standard protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, TCP/IP). · Perform diagnostics, system health checks, and troubleshoot SCADA/automation issues remotely or on-site. 2. Project Execution & Commissioning · Assist in presales site assessments, and support the erection, testing, commissioning, and documentation of iPLON Products & Solutions through on-site visits and requirement analysis. · Support installation, configuration, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), and Site Acceptance Test (SAT). · Coordinate with internal engineering teams and other involved stakeholders for smooth delivery of solutions. 3. Technical Support (On-Site & Remote) · Serve as the first responder for technical escalations in assigned regions. · Provide Level 1/2 support for remote diagnostics, configuration issues, and system failures. · Conduct on-site visits for preventive maintenance, repairs, or system upgrades. · Guide clients and operators with technical training, SOPs, and user manuals. 4. Regional Service & AMC Support · Act as a single point-of-contact for regional support under AMC or service contracts. · Manage customer tickets using Jira and ensure timely closure with proper documentation. · Coordinate spare parts availability, escalation handling, and client communication. · Monitor service KPIs (response time, uptime, ticket status) and ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications & Experience: · Education: Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Control Systems. · Experience: 2–5 years in SCADA / Industrial Automation / Electrical Project Execution. · Technical Skills: o Experience & Adaptability to learn diverse SCADA Systems o Protocols: Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC UA, MQTT. o Devices: PLCs, RTUs, Smart meters, Data loggers o OS: Linux (must-have for field/system support)/ Windows o Tools: Jira, Git, SSH, basic scripting/shell knowledge is a plus. · Additional: Experience with solar energy or hybrid plant SCADA is highly desirable. Preferred Attributes: · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Excellent interpersonal and customer service orientation. · Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently under pressure. · Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and deliver within deadlines. · Strong documentation and reporting skills. Role Overview: As a Regional Sales Manager for PPC (Power Plant Controller) & SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Solutions, you will be responsible for leading and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth within your designated region. Your primary focus will be on promoting and selling our advanced Grid Stability (PPC) & SCADA solutions to the IPPs, Project Developers, EPC, particularly in the Utility Scale Renewable Energy Sector. This role requires a strong understanding of technical solutions, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales leadership Location: Mumbai/Ahmedabad (Temporary Visits to Sites if Needed) Industry: Renewable Energy/Solar Industry Experience: 4-5 years in leadership roles either in sales or business development or technical support & customer handling, preferably within the renewable energy sector. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and technical support to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and effective customer support. 5. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits and capabilities of our PPC & SCADA solutions. 6. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring profitability while meeting customer requirements and market standards. 7. Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, opportunities, and challenges within the region. 8. Stay abreast of industry regulations, standards, and advancements in PPC & SCADA technologies, continuously enhancing your knowledge and expertise in the field. Educational Background : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering as must (Preferbly if any of following stream: Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field in Renewable Energy) or Post Graduation in Renewable Energy/ MBA (as optional).
