Internship - Accounting

As an Accounting Intern with Grand Hyatt Bali, you will have the opportunity to gain insight into the inner workings of a world-class hotel's financial operations. Your role will involve understanding how finance and purchasing departments collaborate to ensure the smooth functioning of the hotel, from financial reconciliation to strategic procurement decisions. Throughout this internship, you will be exposed to the practical aspects of the hospitality industry, providing you with a hands-on learning experience. Your journey will be tailored to your needs, with guidance from a mentor (Learning & Development Manager), a coach (Finance or Purchasing Supervisor), and a buddy (Finance or Materials associate). Additionally, you will have the chance to participate in employee activities, volunteer projects, special initiatives, and various enriching experiences to broaden your perspective. To be eligible for this internship, you should be a current student or a recent graduate (within the past year) from a program in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Business, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field. You must be willing to commit to a full-time internship for a minimum of 6 months, demonstrating your attention to detail, organizational skills, and affinity for working with numerical data. A key aspect of this role involves your interest in comprehending hotel finance processes and purchasing systems. Proficiency in basic Microsoft Excel is preferred, and a willingness to learn new hotel systems is essential. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required to interact with diverse stakeholders.
