Your responsibilities include designing and implementing automation test frameworks with Cypress and Selenium, writing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts in JavaScript, developing automated test cases for both frontend and backend applications, reviewing system specifications to identify test requirements, collaborating with developers in sprint planning for automation coverage, conducting API testing for data flow validation and integration points, identifying and tracking bugs, performing root cause analysis, troubleshooting test environment issues, ensuring test accuracy, reliability, and efficiency through continuous analysis and optimization, participating in code reviews, contributing to automation script enhancement, setting up and maintaining test environments across projects, implementing CI/CD practices for testing, monitoring and effectively reporting test results and metrics to stakeholders, staying abreast of emerging test automation technologies and industry trends, and mentoring junior team members in test automation best practices and frameworks.
