Job Description: Senior Instructional Designer Work Location: Q City, Nanakramguda, Hyderabad Shift Timings: 2pm to 10pm IST Mode of Work: Work From Office Key Responsibilities: Execute Training: Design and Develop Content : Create course materials and media in line with the project plan and timelines. Ensure all content aligns with defined standards and objectives. Content Development : Develop training materials according to process standards, ensuring alignment with best practices. Content Flow : Address learning-related issues, including content sequencing, information flow, and media relevancy. Evaluation : Assess learning materials to ensure objectives are met, and gaps in performance are addressed effectively. Review and Quality Check : Evaluate deliverables for completeness, standard compliance, and consistency. Prepare materials for managerial review. Testing and Usability : Create test plans, oversee course usability testing, and implement corrective actions based on test feedback. Content Oversight : Provide guidance on content revisions based on feedback from subject matter experts (SMEs) and field trial participants. Facilitation : Occasionally provide classroom training or other training activities as required. Initiate Course Development Effort: Work Plan Creation : Develop detailed project plans, considering budget, resources, and timelines. Content Gathering : Prepare interview protocols and gather necessary content from SMEs to design courses. Field Trials and Testing : Collaborate with the team to define field trial and acceptance testing approaches. Client Coordination : Confirm SME agreement on schedules and involvement, setting expectations for the entire project. Learning Objectives : Define and map course content to specific learning objectives based on business drivers and performance goals. Project Kick-Off : Lead project kick-off meetings to align internal teams, ensuring clear understanding of SME roles and course schedules. Prepare Conceptual Design Documents: Business Alignment : Review business drivers to ensure training meets business needs. Innovative Design : Create initial conceptual designs that incorporate innovative methods to drive value. Detailed Training Designs : Develop training modules and instructional materials in line with high-level requirements. Audience and Needs Analysis : Conduct analyses to confirm the relevance and appropriateness of learning objectives. Support Training Development Process: Project Coordination : Collaborate across media, technology, project management, and delivery teams to ensure smooth project execution. Continuous Improvement : Identify and implement process improvements based on lessons learned, adapting steps as necessary. Collaboration : Maintain professional communication with SMEs, peers, and internal teams to support seamless development. Course Evaluation : Monitor course performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and business drivers, recommending improvements where needed. Skills and Qualifications: Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field. Experience : 5+ years in instructional design, training, or learning development roles. Technical Skills : Proficiency in e-learning tools (Articulate, Captivate), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and multimedia development. Project Management : Proven ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion. Collaboration : Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with SMEs and project teams. Evaluation & Feedback : Experience in creating assessments and using data-driven insights to refine content.
