Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Workday HCM Transaction Processing Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing and executing various HR transactions within the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This role requires a strong understanding of HR processes and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience in HR operations or a related field, with a focus on data accuracy and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Worker Data Changes:

    • Process and verify employee data changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  2. Mass Data Loads:

    • Execute mass data uploads into Workday, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
    • Collaborate with IT and HR teams to troubleshoot and resolve data load issues.
  3. New Hire/Rehire Processing:

    • Facilitate the onboarding and rehiring processes by entering and maintaining accurate employee records in Workday.
    • Coordinate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  4. Leave and Absence Management:

    • Manage leave of absence requests and approvals in Workday, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Monitor leave balances and provide reports to HR management as needed.
  5. International Assignment Management:

    • Support the administration of international assignments, including data entry and tracking of assignment details within Workday.
    • Assist in coordinating logistics and documentation for international assignees.
  6. Short Term Assignment Management:

    • Administer short-term assignments by processing relevant transactions and maintaining accurate records in Workday.
    • Collaborate with HR partners and business units to ensure smooth transitions for short-term assignees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in HR operations, HRIS management, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with Workday HCM or other HRIS platforms is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Understanding of HR compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
