Responsibilities

• Design and implement ML models to detect anomalies and predict fraudulent claims across structured/unstructured datasets
• Develop predictive models for population risk scoring, hospitalization forecasting, and claim cost management
• Leverage NLP for processing health records, pre-auth documents, discharge summaries, and lab reports
• Integrate ML workflows into .Net or Python-based health insurance platforms
• Collaborate with data engineering, business rules, and policy compliance teams to deploy end-to-end AI pipelines
• Analyze model performance and optimize using real-time feedback from medical adjudication and field validations

Requirements and skills

• Strong foundation in Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Statistical Modeling
• Experience with Python, Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, familiarity with TensorFlow or PyTorch preferred
• Experience with NLP (e.g., Named Entity Recognition, document classification, summarization)
• Hands-on with medical/claims datasets or large-scale tabular/time-series data
• Familiarity with tools like Jupyter, MLflow, Airflow, Power BI is a plus
