Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team for Government projects . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and proven expertise in preparing comprehensive Project plans, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), billing documentation, and other relevant reports. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various phases of civil engineering projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. Further you will be working as the Project Manager for the existing project in hand. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resources required for successful project execution. Develop accurate and comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on project requirements. Handle billing processes , including preparing, verifying, and submitting invoices to clients. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within budget. Perform site inspections to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety regulations. Analyze project costs, identify potential risks, and provide recommendations for cost control. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, codes, and standards. Generate regular progress reports and present them to clients and internal stakeholders. Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records for future reference. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred). Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on project planning, BOQ preparation, and billing. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Zoho Projects, MS Excel etc. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to deliver high-quality reports. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on large-scale civil engineering projects. Familiarity with tendering processes and contract management. Hands on experience of dealing with Government officers and authorities. Certification in project management is an advantage.
