IAM Architect

Role & responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant you will own the responsibility for the architectural design and implementation of robust identity management solutions that meet business needs with a strong emphasis on collaboration with different product teams product area experts and stakeholders Your key responsibilities will include:
• Lead the development and implementation of directory services technologies including Active Directory AD Entra ID ADFS PKI and IAM capabilities SSO MFA CA Identity governance PIMPAM etc ensuring they align with product objectives and maintain a strong focus on security• Contribute in developing a comprehensive roadmap that aligns with the strategic goals of the Identity Fabric product area ensuring directory services evolve to organizational needs and incorporate best security practices• Establish and promote security best practices for identity management across the organization embedding zero trust principles to ensure that access is continuously verified and least privilege is enforced Ensure compliance with regulatory standards while actively mitigating risks associated with identity and access management• Drive initiatives to reduce legacy systems and minimize physical footprints promoting cloud-based solutions and modern architectures that enhance efficiency and security• Actively research and assess emerging technologies in identity and access management proposing architectural enhancements that bolster security measures and enhance user experience• Advocate for sustainable practices in identity management by implementing solutions that reduce environmental impact while maintaining high security and operational effectiveness• Extensive experience typically 8-10 years in IT architecture with a solid understanding of designing and implementing scalable and secure solutions• Strong background in solution design system integrations and aligning technology with business objectives• Proven track record in leading largescale projects especially in complex environments with multiple systems and integrations• Experience in cloud architectures their IAM offerings e.g., Azure AWS or GCP and hybrid cloud on premises environments• Deep expertise in Identity management IAM solutions Active Directory Entra ID and related directory services technologies ADFS Microsoft PKI as well as strong knowledge of security protocols such as OAuth OpenID Connect OIDC and SAML• Previous experience in enterprise level migrations or transitions away from legacy systems and infrastructure modernization• Expertise in security best practices such as NIST and ISO 27001 with a focus on access management encryption and regulatory compliance• Ability to assess emerging technologies and translate them into impactful solutions o A university degree or Above in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field Relevant certifications trainings in Identity management Microsoft technologies Cybersecurity or related fields are highly desirableo Identity and Access Management IAM Expertise in managing and securing user identities roles and access controls across various systems and platformso Directory Services Technologies Proficient in Active Directory AD Entra ID ADFS PKI and related IAM capabilitieso Security Best Practices Strong understanding of security frameworks and principles including zero trust risk management and compliance standardso Cloud Solutions Experience with cloud-based identity management solutions and strategies for modernizing legacy systemso Scripting and Automation Skilled in using scripting languages e.g., PowerShell Python to automate identity management processes enhance efficiency and reduce manual interventiono Stakeholder Engagement Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with cross functional teams and stakeholderso Problem Solving Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions in identity managemento Project Management Ability to lead projects and initiatives ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives
