About the Role:

HR Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the HR team, ensuring efficient execution of HR operations and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable labor laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Design, implement, and manage HR policies and practices that foster a positive organizational culture.
  • Advise senior leadership on legal risks and labor law updates, ensuring proactive compliance measures.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, learning & development, performance management, and employee welfare programs.
  • Drive initiatives for succession planning, workforce planning, and leadership development.
  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance handling effectively.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure HR strategies support broader organizational objectives.
  • Monitor HR metrics, generate reports, and use data-driven insights to improve HR practices.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex employee issues and disciplinary procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Masters degree or MBA preferred).
  • 15-20 years

    of progressive HR experience, with at least

    7 years in a leadership or management role

    .
  • In-depth knowledge of

    Indian labour laws

    ,

    statutory compliances

    , and

    HR best practices

    .
  • Experience in handling audits, legal inspections, and compliance documentation.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop HR teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while maintaining attention to operational details.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications like SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or similar will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in [Dairy/ Food processing units/ manufacturing, FMCG] preferred.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and data analytics tools.
