simplifies and automates labour law compliance management for businesses, ensuring real-
time visibility, risk reduction, and regulatory adherence across multiple states and
locations.
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to drive new
customer acquisition and business growth for our compliance SaaS product. The ideal
candidate will have prior experience in selling HRIS, payroll, or other HR tech solutions to
mid-market and enterprise clients.
Youll be responsible for owning the sales cycle from lead generation to closure, working
closely with internal stakeholders such as product and marketing, and establishing deep
relationships with HR, Legal, and Compliance leaders across industries.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, qualify, and convert new leads in target industries for our Compliance SaaS
platform.
• Build strong relationships with HR Heads, CHROs, Legal Counsels, Compliance
Managers, and Admin Leads.
• Conduct consultative sales conversations, product demos, and ROI-based selling
tailored to client needs.
• Drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting, pitching, proposal creation, negotiation,
and closure.
• Work with pre-sales and solutioning teams to design the right deployment models
(Cloud, On-Premise, API/SFTP integrations).
• Collaborate with marketing for campaigns, events, and webinars to generate top-of-
funnel leads.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity data in CRM.
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry forums when needed.
Qualifications & Skills
• 3–4 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in HRTech, HRIS, Payroll, or other SaaS
domains.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets in a consultative sales role.
• Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, particularly in HR/Compliance
domains.
• Familiarity with labour laws, compliance workflows, and regulatory technology is a
plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with minimal supervision.
• Hands-on experience with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot) is preferred.
