Role & responsibilities The PPMC (Production Planning & Material Control) Head is responsible for leading and coordinating all production planning, scheduling, and material control activities to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and timely delivery. This role involves strategic planning, team management, and cross-functional collaboration with procurement, production, and logistics. Key responsibilities - - Develop and implement production plans and schedules based on demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory levels. - Ensure material supply meets production requirements with minimal stock levels while optimizing costs. - Analyze raw material and consumables requirements, verify stock, and initiate procurement as needed. - Monitor production activities, address deviations, and adjust plans to meet delivery timelines. - Oversee inventory management, maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) accuracy, and minimize obsolete stock. - Lead and coach the production planning and material control team to achieve departmental objectives. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely material availability and resolve supply chain issues. - Prepare and present operational reports, metrics, and status updates to management. - Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in production planning and material control. - Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949. Preferred candidate profile Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and inventory management. - Experience with ERP systems and production monitoring tools. - Leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. - Effective communication and collaboration skills. - Technical background (B.E) with relevant experience in automotive or related manufacturing environments.

Job Summary: This role is responsible for ensuring production equipment and facilities operate efficiently, leading a team of maintenance staff, managing budgets and inventory, and upholding safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have expertise in hydraulic systems, utility maintenance, regulatory compliance, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Operations: Oversee maintenance activities for manufacturing assets, production lines, and facility equipment, ensuring high asset reliability and minimal downtime. Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic related issues, ensuring the smooth functioning of heavy hydraulic presses. Develop inhouse repairing facilities for hydraulic cylinders and power packs to reduce costs and downtime. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Implement continuous improvement strategies focusing on reliability and efficiency and PM Plans Maintain electrical and hydraulic circuits to ensure optimal performance. Knowledge of MTTR/MTBF and other KPI Utility & Compliance Management: Oversee the maintenance of transformers, DG sets, compressors, boilers, fire hydrant systems, and solar systems, ensuring healthy working conditions Ensure compliance with MSEB, MPCB, and other regulatory requirements, managing documentation and reporting. Coordinate with government officials for compliance related matters. Team Management: Lead, schedule, and supervise a maintenance team (15-20 members), including Assistant Managers, Engineers, Technicians, and Supervisors across shifts. Provide training, mentorship, and foster a collaborative work environment. Budgeting & Inventory Control: Manage department budgets, monitor expenses, and control inventory for spare parts and tools. Analyse maintenance data to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness. Collaboration & Safety: Work closely with departments like production, engineering, and quality to ensure smooth operations. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Skills & Qualifications: Education: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Experience: 10+ years in a supervisory maintenance role, preferably in automotive or manufacturing environments. 3-4 years of managerial experience, leading large maintenance teams. Expertise in hydraulic systems, electrical circuits, and compliance management. Skills: Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in auto component manufacturing. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Experience with maintenance management systems, budgeting, and inventory control.
