Here is the job description Title: Head of Supply Chain Management Location: Nagpur Industry: EPC ( Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) // Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Onsite Role Overview: We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Supply Chain to lead and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations for our Transmission & Distribution (T&D) division. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in EPC project supply chains, vendor management, procurement of transmission materials, and logistics planning across domestic and international markets. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with EPC project timelines and business goals. Oversee procurement of transmission line materials: conductors, insulators, towers, transformers, cables, etc. Lead contract negotiations, vendor development, and strategic sourcing. Coordinate with engineering, project execution, and finance teams to align supply chain with project needs. Manage logistics, warehousing, inventory control, and demand forecasting. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Develop supplier scorecards and performance metrics. Manage large teams and mentor supply chain professionals across regions. Key Requirements: 15+ years of supply chain experience, with at least 7-10 years in Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D). Proven leadership in EPC projects or large-scale infrastructure procurement. Strong knowledge of materials used in T&D: transmission towers, substations, cables, etc. Experience with government tenders, PSUs, and utility clients. Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Familiarity with SAP or ERP-based procurement systems.
