Role & responsibilities The incumbent shall be responsible for Central Engineering of Greenfield Integrated Steel Project such as engineering strategies, Project Management, Process Optimization, Technology Integration, Stakeholder Collaboration, Risk Management, Talent Development, Engineering strategies etc. Validation of design criteria, detail engineering & As-Built engineering along with consultants. Experience in Technical Archives / DBMS/ MIS software. Developing future engineering team leaders, mentoring team members. Experience in Auto CAD/PDMS/Advanced MS office, SAP & ERP system. Preferred candidate profile Graduate Engineering - Metallurgy / Mechanical with 25+ years of experience from large steel industry. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of steel making processes, technology, beneficiation, and associated utilities, plant operations, safety protocols, and QC standards. Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead cross-functional Engineering teams , External consultants & Engineering firms and Manage large-scale projects, and drive strategic initiatives. Problem-Solving: Expertise in troubleshooting complex engineering challenges. Advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and Industry 4.0 practices . Conducting HAZOP study analysis and implement the same in future designs. Experience in Contract management in generic and technology equipment with International and Indigenous suppliers. Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability in line with Organizational Objectives.
