Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and manage security solutions using Cisco ASA and Firepower Threat Defense (FTD).
- Network Security: Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, and other network security technologies.
- Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and analyze network traffic, identify potential security threats, and implement measures to mitigate them.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, implementation plans, and test reports.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions with other IT systems and services.
Required Skills:
- Cisco ASA and FTD expertise: Experience with Cisco ASA and FTD firewalls, including configuration, troubleshooting, and management.
- Networking fundamentals: Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
- Security technologies: Knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems, and cloud security.
- Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CCNP-Security or CCIE certification: Cisco security certification, such as CCNP-Security or CCIE, is preferred.
- Experience with other security technologies: Experience with other security technologies, such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or F5, is a plus.
- Scripting skills: Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or Ansible, is desirable.
