Guidewire Developer

Position: Guidewire Developer (4 to 6 years of Guidewire Development experience - Policy Center) Guidewire specific skills: Very good understanding of Guidewire framework, architecture and implementation Deep understanding of Policy Center Hands on experience with Guidewire integrations mechanisms - Messaging, Web Services, Plugins Hands on experience with Guidewire congurations - Product Model, PCFs, Data Model Understanding of Guidewire digital/Edge APIs platform Excellent programming skills in Gosu and scripting Experience in writing unit and functional tests An understanding of the insurance business, an ability to talk to business analysts and SMEs to translate business requirements into system changes Development Skills: Must be highly competent in SQL Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills Strong understanding of Object-Oriented design and methodologies Hands-on experience working in SCRUM based agile teams Experience with the Open API specication and Swagger tooling Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices Nice to have Java 8 knowledge or experience Prior experience of working in any similar (Guidewire like) frameworks Guidewire Certification Experience and other skills: 4 to 6 years of experience in Guidewire development specifically Policy Center - working on Agile methodology. Very good communication. Deep understanding on application development and life cycle. Experience in Insurance domain, preferably in Property & Casualty. Very good analytical and logical thinking ability. Committed, fast learner and proactive in nature. Work location: Wipfi, Bangalore or Pune.
