Position: Sales Engineer – Utility Projects Location: Chennai Experience: 2 to 4 Years Industry: Power | Utilities | EPC | Infrastructure We are hiring a Sales Engineer for one of our clients engaged in utility infrastructure and EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of relevant experience in sales or business development within the power and utility sector. Experience in solar EPC will be considered an added advantage. About the Hiring Organization A Chennai-based company offering services in Power Consulting, NABL-accredited Calibration, Advanced metering solution, and solar/renewable energy EPC projects. Established in 2018, it operates under ISO 9001:2015 and has branches in Chennai, Kanyakumari, and Udumalpet. Key Responsibilities: • Identify and pursue business opportunities in utility and infrastructure segments • Prepare and present techno-commercial offers and proposals • Build and maintain relationships with DISCOMs, government departments, consultants, and industrial clients • Coordinate with internal teams for solution development and project handovers • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure • Achieve defined sales targets and contribute to overall business growth Candidate Profile: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant engineering field • 2 to 4 years of experience in EPC or utility project sales • Strong knowledge of BOQs, DPRs, tendering, and costing • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client engagement skills • Willingness to travel as per project or client needs • Based in or willing to relocate to Chennai • Solar EPC experience is a plus Compensation : • Competitive salary with performance-linked incentives Applications/Referrals can be shared at: ranith@gridstar.co.in
