Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a Senior Design Engineer at Greentek India Limited located in Secunderābād. The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, manufacturing, and installing solar-powered products and systems. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to design engineering, mechanical engineering, computer-aided design (CAD), electrical engineering, and product design. Key Responsibilities: . Lead the end-to-end design process of solar PV systems including rooftop, ground-mounted, and utility-scale projects. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, single-line diagrams, and layout plans using AutoCAD, Helioscope, PVsyst, or similar tools. Perform site assessments, shade analysis, load calculations, and system sizing. Conduct performance simulations and energy yield analysis. Collaborate with sales, project management, procurement, and construction teams to deliver technically sound and cost-effective solutions. Develop and maintain design documentation, bill of materials (BOM), and project specifications. Stay current on solar technologies, industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and design staff. Support permitting, interconnection, and grid compliance processes.
