Key Responsibilities – Production Manager Production Planning & Scheduling Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules. Allocate manpower and machine resources effectively to meet output targets. Process Supervision Monitor the production process for PVC, CPVC, UPVC, HDPE, GI pipe fittings. Ensure smooth operation of injection molding, extrusion, or compression machines. Quality Control Ensure finished products meet internal and customer quality standards. Coordinate with the QC team for in-process checks and final inspections. Machine & Tool Maintenance Ensure all machines, dies, and molds are maintained and serviced regularly. Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance. Team Management Supervise operators, line staff, and technicians across shifts. Conduct training, performance reviews, and skill development programs. Inventory & Material Control Coordinate with the store/purchase team to ensure timely availability of raw materials. Monitor usage, wastage, and inventory levels of raw material and consumables. Production Efficiency & Cost Optimization Identify and implement process improvements to reduce downtime, waste, and cost. Apply lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen principles. Health & Safety Compliance Ensure safety standards and regulations are followed on the shop floor. Conduct regular safety audits and awareness training for workers.
