Role & responsibilities - CAM Programmer : Programming CNC machines using NX CAM, including creating tool paths and NC codes. Understanding 2D prints with GD&T and aligning process flow and CAM to align with requirements. Creating stage models, using WAVE geometry, assembling creation, and reference geometry creation for CAM processes. NX programs for 3/5-axis milling operations, including CAD tools for part model preparation and machining. Planar mill, Area Mill, Fixed Axis Contour and holes. Expert in basic operation and setup of CNC machines, understanding of tooling, fixtures, and metrology skills. Understanding of metrology techniques like calipers, height gages and CMM/OMM. Prove out of CAM Programs on CNC Machines. Analysis of Dimensional/cosmetic fallouts during CNC Machining & Providing corrections to resolve the issues. Preferred candidate profile CAD/CAM, NX, Vericut. Knowledge of fixture setup, probing using Renishaw & Siemens cycles. Knowledge of Machining Centres specifically Siemens Controls 840D. Robust trouble shooting experience in CNC Machining. Knowledge of Titanium machining will be advantage.
