About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Glazier to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, installing, and replacing various types of glass in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine glass requirements
• Measure and mark glass before cutting using specialized tools and machinery
• Install glass in windows, doors, storefronts, partitions, balustrades, and other structures
• Handle glass safely using suction cups, cranes, and other lifting equipment
• Remove broken glass and replace with new panes
• Work with aluminium frames, sealants, and glazing beads
• Collaborate with builders, project managers, and other trades
• Ensure all work complies with Australian safety standards and building codes
• Maintain clean and safe work environments

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Glazier (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Strong technical knowledge of glass types, measurements, and installation techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to relocate to Melbourne if currently based elsewhere

Preferred:

• Certificate in Glass and Glazing or equivalent qualification
• Experience with commercial glazing systems (e.g., curtain walls, frameless glass)
• EWP (Elevated Work Platform) and Working at Heights tickets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹200,000.00 per month
