GIS Fresher

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented GIS Fresher to join our team. As a GIS Analyst, you will work with geospatial data to support projects involving mapping, spatial analysis, and data visualization. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with internship experience in GIS who are eager to start their career in geospatial technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, process, and manage spatial and non-spatial data using GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Create and update maps and datasets to support internal teams or clients.
• Perform basic spatial analysis, including buffering, overlay, and proximity analysis.
• Convert data between different formats and coordinate systems.
• Support the maintenance and accuracy of geodatabases.
• Assist in preparing reports, charts, and visualizations based on spatial data.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and project managers.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools.
• Basic understanding of spatial data concepts, projections, and coordinate systems.
• Exposure to data formats like shapefiles, KML, GeoJSON, and raster data.
• Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

• Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
