General Manager - Sales & Purchase

Job Overview: SSG, a diversified company with a strong presence in the Foods & Beverages sector, is seeking an experienced professional to lead procurement and sales of grains, rice, and other raw materials for distilleries across India. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of market trends, supplier negotiations, and strong industry connections to identify reputed alcohol distilleries for distribution. Key Responsibilities: Source and procure grains, rice, and related materials at competitive prices from suppliers across India. Build and maintain relationships with trusted suppliers and negotiate favorable contracts. Identify and partner with reputable distilleries for bulk sales of raw materials. Continuously monitor industry trends, pricing, and supply-demand dynamics. Travel extensively across India to establish new business connections. Engage with stakeholders in Hindi, English, and local languages for smooth operations. Required Qualifications & Skills: Experience: Minimum 10 years in procurement, supply chain, or sales within the alcohol industry or related sectors. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of raw material pricing, quality assessment, and distillery supply chain. Negotiation & Communication: Excellent skills in supplier negotiations and business dealings. Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel extensively across India. Proficiency in Hindi, English, and at least one regional language. Age Requeniremt: 35 – 50 years Location: Anywhere in India (Extensive Travel Required) Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 (Negotiable based on experience & exposure) Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Work Location: In person
