GCP with PySpark - Lead

You are an experienced GCP Data Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience. You will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient data solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for UST. Your role will involve developing end-to-end data pipelines with a focus on scalability and performance, as well as maintaining ETL workflows for seamless data processing. Your expertise in GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow will be crucial for effective data engineering. You will also leverage PySpark for data transformations, ensuring high-quality and well-structured output by implementing data cleansing, enrichment, and validation processes. To succeed in this role, you must have proven experience as a Data Engineer with a strong emphasis on GCP, proficiency in GCP services, and expertise in PySpark for data processing and analytics. Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala, will be required. Relevant certifications in GCP or data engineering are a plus.
