Location: Chinchwad, Pune Reporting to: Production Manager / Studio Head Type: Full-time Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and organized Production Coordinator with a background in Architecture, Interior Design, or Furniture Design. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between design and execution, ensuring that workshop production, vendor coordination, material procurement, and deliveries happen smoothly and on schedule. Key Responsibilities: Workshop Coordination: Work closely with the workshop team to ensure designs are correctly interpreted and executed. Coordinate day-to-day activities, solve on-ground issues, and maintain clear communication with carpenters. Shop Drawings: Create and manage shop drawings based on references and design intent. Ensure drawings are production-ready and accurate. Outsourcing & Vendor Management: Liaise with outsourcing vendors and fabricators for specific components or finishes. Track timelines, share specifications, and ensure timely delivery. Procurement & Inventory: Coordinate material purchases in line with project requirements. Maintain inventory records and track consumption and stock levels. Deliveries & Dispatches: Plan and coordinate dispatches and deliveries to project sites. Ensure that packing, documentation, and logistics are handled efficiently. Quality Control: Conduct basic quality checks at various stages of production. Identify issues early and flag them to relevant team members. Progress Reporting: Regularly update internal teams and management on production progress, timelines, and any challenges or delays. Candidate Profile: Education: Degree or diploma in Architecture / Interior Design / Furniture Design (preferred) Skills Required: Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and coordination ability Basic Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets competency Problem-solving mindset and willingness to work on the ground Bonus Skills (Preferred but not mandatory): Exposure to furniture production processes Understanding of material properties and joinery methods Prior experience in a similar coordination role What We Offer: Opportunity to work with a small, focused team on high-end bespoke furniture and interior projects Hands-on experience in design execution and production Dynamic work environment with room to grow and take ownership
