Game Designer/Animation Creator

As a Game Designer at Matrix Medium, you will be responsible for shaping the core gameplay systems, mechanics, and player experience for our upcoming project. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to transform high-level creative ideas into engaging gameplay. Your main tasks will include designing game mechanics, levels, and systems that align with the project's vision, creating and maintaining detailed game design documentation, collaborating with programmers and artists to implement features, balancing gameplay for difficulty and engagement, and contributing creatively to story and character interactions. You should have a minimum of 2+ years of proven experience in game design, preferably with at least one shipped title. A strong understanding of game mechanics, systems design, and user experience is essential. Proficiency in design tools like Unity, Unreal Engine, or equivalent editors is required. Excellent communication and documentation skills are a must, along with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a project-based environment. Experience with narrative design, mobile game design, or multiplayer mechanics is a bonus.
