Fullstack-leaning Frontend Engineer

The ideal candidate for the position of Senior Frontend Developer / Lead should possess a high level of skill and experience in React.js, TypeScript, and AWS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of scalable and high-performing web applications. In addition to this, you will also play a crucial role in mentoring junior developers and collaborating with backend and DevOps teams to ensure the delivery of top-quality software solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include leading and contributing to the development of dynamic and responsive web interfaces using React.js and TypeScript. You will also be tasked with designing reusable and maintainable UI components using CSS and Styled Components. Working closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers, you will define, implement, and optimize user experiences. Furthermore, integrating and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL services, collaborating in microservices architecture, and ensuring code quality through testing will be key aspects of your role. In terms of technical skills, you should have a strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. Experience with React.js is preferred, while knowledge of Vue.js is optional. Proficiency in styling with CSS and Styled Components, API integration using REST, GraphQL, and JSON, as well as experience with microservices architecture, testing with Jest and Playwright, and DevOps & Cloud technologies such as AWS and Docker are essential. Familiarity with version control using Git is also required. Additionally, any bonus skills such as knowledge of Node.js would be considered a plus.
