About Position

Deevita is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Engineering Lead to lead a team within our AI-based product development group and engage with client. The ideal candidate must be hands-on (>=70% coding responsibilities) will possess deep expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, React JS (UX), and extensive hands-on experience with database design, CI/CD delivery tools, and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform, SonarQube, Maven, Gradle, Harness, API gateways). You will play a pivotal role in architectural decision-making, ensuring the delivery of scalable, robust, and high-performance web applications, and fostering a collaborative environment for seamless front-end and back-end integration.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership & Mentorship:

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of full-stack developers, fostering their technical growth and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Provide technical oversight and architectural direction for complex web applications using React.js for the front end and Java Spring Boot for the back end.
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and scalable code for both front-end and back-end development.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in web development, React.js, Java, and cloud technologies, driving adoption within the team.

• Architecture & Design:

• Architect and design highly scalable and performant full-stack solutions, encompassing responsive user interfaces, robust server-side components, and efficient database interactions.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication and data flow between internal and external 3rd party systems.
• Oversee the design and implementation of database schemas, optimize complex SQL queries, procedures, and scripts for high-volume applications, and manage data flows efficiently.
• Design and maintain cloud-based SQL databases, ensuring high availability, security, and proper data management.
• Lead the development and deployment of cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS, etc.) to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Design integration components to interface with external Saas platforms for reliable operations

• Collaboration & Project Management:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, QA, and DevOps, to define, plan, and deliver features.
• Actively participate in Agile development processes (stand-ups, sprints, retrospectives), ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Translate business requirements into functional and appealing user interfaces in collaboration with designers.

• Development & Optimization:

• Develop core platform Rest API for use internally withing various systems and integration API to connect multiple 3rd party systems together for seamless data flow
• Develop systems using strong SDLC practices to ensure components are testable, reusable, modular
• Implement strong security and authentication systems to ensure services are protected against malicious attacks
• Investigate on new systems, technology to adopt in the development process. Assist other team members in onboarding and training to prepare them for the development process.
• Develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React JS, adhering to UX/UI best practices.
• Create reusable React components and manage state effectively using hooks, Context API, and state management libraries (e.g., Redux).
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for applications.
• Responsible for ensuring high-quality delivery through structured SDLC processes involving design reviews, code reviews, unit testing, test-driven development practices in the development process.

Required

• 10+ years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 3+ years in a technical lead or manager role.
• Extensive hands-on experience (7+ years) with Java Spring Boot, REST API, Postgresql, React JS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and CI/CD tools.
• Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering fields (BE/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech, MCA).
• Demonstrated experience with REST API development and integration.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud in using VM based systems development, cloud-native applications, SaaS application development & deployment in similar cloud environments.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. Must be hands-on, deeply technical, and have exposure to the latest features within SQL Server, capable of both coding and guiding junior/mid-level database engineers.
• Must have industry technical certifications in React, Java/Spring technologies, or application development in public clouds like AWS.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent communication skills (English) to interface directly with US clients, with proven proficiency in all types of communication modes Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking
• Experience in building platforms, applications in US healthcare industry, with HIPAA compliance
• Direct experience integrating Java applications with various EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, Meditech)
• Strong understanding of system integration, cloud-native solutions, and cloud databases, specifically in AWS cloud.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with interoperability standards like HL7, FHIR, DICOM
• Experience with healthcare integration engines or platforms that facilitate data exchange between disparate systems.
• Experience with integrating software with medical devices (e.g., physiological monitors, lab equipment).
• Experience with documenting and maintaining test results for regulatory purposes.
• Hands-on experience in integrating biometric identity and payment systems like Amazon One.
