JD for the Current running requirement of Software Engineering Advisor Full Stack (Java / React, AWS) Role for FCS Software Solutions. Role - Software Engineering Advisor Full Stack (Java / React, AWS) 100% Remote - Hyderabad, India. Duration: Contract Work timing: UK Hours Position Summary: - As a Software Engineering Advisor Full Stack, you will architect, build, and optimize AWS-hosted enterprise applications that combine a React front end with Java/Spring Boot micro-services. Partnering with cross-functional squadsdata engineers, DevOps, product ownersyou will translate complex workflows into intuitive, high-performance web solutions while providing technical leadership, code reviews, and best-practice guidance to the team. Key Responsibilities: - Design & Development: Build cloud-native web applications using Java 11+, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and React/TypeScript single-page architectures deployed on AWS and OpenShift. Technical Leadership: Conduct architecture reviews, mentor engineers, manage code quality, and champion development standards and DevSecOps practices. Agile Collaboration: Work in Scrum/Agile teams, refining backlogs, estimating effort, and delivering iterative value; coordinate closely with on-site (U.S.) counterparts. Cloud & Infrastructure: Liaise with AWS and infrastructure teams to provision, monitor, and maintain environments; optimize performance, scalability, and security. Testing & Automation: Drive automated unit, integration, and API tests; ensure CI/CD pipelines support rapid, reliable deployments. Stakeholder Engagement: Translate technical progress and challenges into clear updates for product owners and leadership; advocate for user-centric design decisions. Required Qualifications: - 7+ years of professional software-engineering experience with deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot frameworks. Hands-on full-stack development with React (or strong proficiency and willingness to work in React) plus HTML, CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript. Proven track record designing and consuming RESTful APIs; solid grasp of micro-services patterns. Experience hosting and scaling single-page applications on AWS (EC2, S3, API Gateway, or similar) and/or OpenShift. Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle or comparable relational databases. Demonstrated practice of Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and modern software-engineering best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable collaborating across time zones and disciplines. Bonus / Nice-to-Have: - Experience with Node.js back-end services. Knowledge of DevOps tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to healthcare or pharmacy-benefit domains.
