ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and design enterprise-grade web applications using Next.js, React, and modern frontend technologies.
Lead the migration of legacy systems to Next.js and the App Router architecture.
Collaborate with product owners, designers, and backend engineers to define scalable UI/UX and performance strategies.
Establish and enforce frontend engineering standards, reusable component patterns, and architectural guidelines.
Optimize applications for SEO, accessibility, server-side rendering (SSR), static generation (SSG), and performance.
Design and implement code-splitting, caching, and ISR (Incremental Static Regeneration) strategies.
Evaluate and integrate frontend tooling such as TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Formik/React Hook Form, and Material UI.
Oversee CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E), and deployment automation for frontend.
Mentor frontend engineers and conduct code/design reviews.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in frontend development, with 5+ years in React.js and minimum 3+ years in Next.js.
Deep understanding of Next.js features including SSR, SSG, ISR, App Router, Middleware, and Server Components.
Deep understanding of React Hooks, Context API, component lifecycle, and code-splitting strategies.
Hands-on experience with Next.js version 13 or above.
Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern ES6+ practices.
Experience with UI libraries/frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or similar.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and state management tools (Redux, Zustand, etc.).
Hands-on experience with accessibility (WCAG), SEO optimization, and analytics integrations.
Experience leading architecture discussions, defining standards, and guiding technical strategy.
Familiarity with DevOps tools ( Docker, GitHub Actions, etc.) for frontend workflows.
Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (e.g., Lighthouse, Sentry, New Relic).
