Freelancer proficient in Kashmiri Transcription (Perso-Arabic Nastaliq) script

Key Responsibilities:

• Listen to Kashmiri -language audio tapes with full attention to detail.
• Read and review written transcripts in

  Kashmiri Transcription (Perso-Arabic Nastaliq) script

• Identify errors in transcription (spelling, grammar, context, missing words) and make corrections as necessary.
• Ensure final transcripts are accurate, clear, and aligned with the audio content.
• Maintain consistency in language usage and follow linguistic quality standards.
• Meet

  strict deadlines

  and deliver assignments as per schedule.
• Work independently and maintain confidentiality of the content.

Requirements:

• Native or near-native proficiency in

  Kashmiri Language

• Strong command of

  Perso-Arabic Nastaliq script

  reading and writing.
• Prior experience in

  transcription, translation, or quality review

  is preferred.
• High level of

  accuracy, language sensitivity, and attention to detail

  .
• Must have access to a computer/laptop with good internet connectivity and quality headphones.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines consistently.

Compensation:

• Payment will be based on the total audio hours reviewed and corrected.

  (e.g., rate per hour of audio tape)
• Payment is released upon successful submission and approval of corrected transcripts.

Work Schedule:

• Flexible hours but must adhere to project deadlines.
• Freelancers must be able to commit to the assigned workload and deliver on time.
