Job Description

Fitter

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps, blowers, and associated mechanical equipment.
Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
Interpret mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and P&ID layouts.
Ensure proper alignment and fitting of mechanical systems at site.
Maintain safety standards and follow all site-specific safety norms.
Coordinate with engineers and other technical staff to ensure timely execution of maintenance activities.

Candidate Requirements:

2 to 4 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance.
ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in pump and blower maintenance is mandatory.
Previous experience in water and wastewater treatment industry is required.
Good understanding of workplace safety standards and PPE compliance.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
