Finance Intern

You will be joining Vari Medical Academy, a prestigious educational institution located in COIMBATORE, as a Finance Intern for a period of either 3 months or 6 months. As a Finance Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical exposure to finance operations in the education sector. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports, supporting day-to-day accounting activities such as data entry and record keeping, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining financial records. Additionally, you will help with budget preparation, expense tracking, processing invoices and expense claims, conducting basic financial analysis, and preparing summary reports for management. You will also be involved in coordinating with vendors and departments for financial documentation, maintaining proper filing and documentation of finance-related papers, assisting in internal audits and compliance checks, and performing other finance and administrative tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager. To qualify for this role, you should be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting, proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools, good analytical and numerical skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, and excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
